Three rehabilitated turtles return to the sea
Spectators lined Buxton’s lifeguarded beach Thursday evening, May 21, to watch as representatives from the North Carolina Aquarium, National Park Service, and The Network for Endangered Sea Turtles (NEST) sent three rehabilitated sea turtles back to the ocean.

Free NC Symphony Concert on the Outer Banks

Outdoor painting workshop set for May at SeaWorthy Gallery
SeaWorthy Gallery in Hatteras village will sponsor a three-day “Plein Air” outdoor painting workshop on May 19-21 from 9 until 4 p.m. each day.
