Torpedo Junction - Shipwrecks of WWI and WWII Presentation to be held at Salvo Volunteer Fire Station

The National Park Service Outer Banks Group Know Your Park citizen science program series continues with a presentation from Joe Hoyt from the Monitor National Marine Sanctuary on Wednesday, January 20 at 7:00 p.m. at the Salvo Volunteer Fire Station.  The program is free and will last approximately 1 hour.

Surf or Sound Realty is delighted to welcome Hatteras Island brides as we participate in the 2010 Outer Banks Wedding Expo. The island festivities start Saturday, January 9th, with two of our premier vacation rental homes featured in the Outer Banks Wedding Tour. 


Rodanthe Movie House “Serendipity” Sold and Saved

The beachfront house featured in the movie “Nights in Rodanthe” will soon have a new home itself, thanks to a bail bondsman who fell in love with the surf-threatened house after his wife bought the movie for him as a Christmas present last year.
