Bodie Island restoration project is underway

The Bodie Island Lighthouse, located in the Cape Hatteras National Seashore just north of the Bonner Bridge, is getting a much needed and long awaited facelift.
The $2.8 million project to restore and refurbish the lighthouse got underway late last year and is expected to take about 18 months.

Movie based on Pea Island “Rescue Men” Premieres

Valentine’s Celebration with Live Music on Feb. 14th

 This Valentine’s Day, brighten your Hatteras holiday spirit with an afternoon of live music. Indian Town Gallery in Frisco will be featuring a 7 piece band in the gallery from 2:00 - 4:00 pm on Sunday, Feb 14th. All locals and visitors are welcome to attend, and aings to do, dmission is free.
