R/C Theatres will reopen its Avon venue on May 1, just in time for summertime visitors. The Avon theater is expected to remain open for four months through Labor Day, seven days a week, with matinee and evening showings.
The theater closed temporarily last fall, but is reopening for seasonal visitors. The theater is located in the Food Lion Grocery Store Plaza in Avon Village, next to Toppers Pizza and Sweet and Simple Pleasures candy and gift shop. Once the theater has opened, moviegoers can call the cinema directly to check on shows and times. The local number is (252) 995-9060.
