Cape Hatteras Angler’s Annual Invitational Fishing Tournament announces winners

The Cape Hatteras Anglers Club Invitational Surf Fishing Tournament has been held every November since 1958. In 2008, 120 Teams of six members each from all over the East Coast were invited to participate in the tournament, and they fished in zones in a morning session and an afternoon session for two days, with a Sunday banquet and awards ceremony culminating the event.

Targeting a number of species, the winners of this year’s tournament were announced and posted to the Cape Hatteras Angler’s club website. The official winners are listed below.

Plans are already underway for 2009’s tournament, scheduled for November 4-7, and you can visit the Cape Hatteras Anglers Club for tournament info.
