The Hatteras Island Cancer Foundation’s anticipated annual dance will be a tribute to the 10th anniversary of the foundation and its annual fundraiser.
Every year the Cancer Foundation dance has a new theme, from pirates to the roaring 20s, encouraging participants to dress up in costume and share in the fun. To mark this milestone, the theme of this year’s dance is “Toast to 10 Years of Sharing and Caring.”
The dance will be on Saturday, March 20, at the Hatteras Civic Center. Dress will be “Black Tie Hatteras-Style,” which basically means that anything goes, from formal to casual, tuxedos to Bermuda Shorts.
Doors will be open from 6 p.m. and the dance will go on until midnight. The event features live music and dancing with the 360 Band, and a full buffet of seafood, meats, appetizers, and many local dishes. Soda, beer, wine, and champagne to toast will also be provided.
Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased through any HICF board member or at Spa Koru and East Carolina Bank locations.
Hatteras village Christmas parade will be Saturday, Dec. 12
