Update as of 8:00am 7/4/14

Hurricane Arthur passed over Hatteras Island last night bringing heavy rain and strong winds but more concerning, significant ocean overwash and soundside flooding.

We are still under a mandatory evacuation order from Dare County for all of Hatteras Island.

At this time we have not yet learned from Dare county or NCDOT the conditions of NC Highway 12 or bridges.

We will be communicating with our incoming guests as we have news to report. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
