Planning a day trip to Ocracoke during your fall Hatteras Island vacation? Then check out Ocracoke Island’s 5th annual art walk on Saturday, September 27th, from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
During this free and self guided walking tour, you can explore Ocracoke Island’s artist studios. Local quilters, painters, potters, photographers, carvers, jewelers, and other artists will all have their studios, work spaces, and galleries open for the public to visit and explore.

Linda Browning will offer watercolor workshop
Linda Meyer Browning, award-winning watercolorist, photographer, and painting instructor, will be conducting a watercolor workshop for adults on Saturday, Sept. 12, and again on Monday, Sept. 14. “Watercolor for Beginners” will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be held at Linda’s studio in Frisco on Hatteras Island.
Sea Glass Trunk Show at Indiantown Gallery
On Thursday, June 4, the Indiantown Gallery will feature a Sea Glass Truck Show from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., featuring authentic gift items, jewelry, and pieces by artists Pem Bryant, has over 300 pieces of LOCAL sea glass that he has made into jewelry and gift items.
