Hatteras Island and Outer Banks visitors and residents woke up Saturday morning to a light snowfall. Rodanthe, Waves and Salvo communities, like the South Beach neighborhood in Salvo pictured above, enjoyed a day of snow on the ground before temperatures warmed up and it melted away.
