On November 26th, the staff of Surf or Sound Realty welcomed their homeowners with the annual 2008 Homeowners’ Party. Set outside under a large lighted tent adjacent to the Avon Office, the Homeowners’ Party presents a chance for staff to catch up with the homeowners, say thanks for a great year, and of course, have a great time.
By 3:00 p.m., the aroma from the tent was mouth watering, as Okie Smokies had prepared a southern feast with barbecue, oysters, Brunswick stew, hamburgers and hot dogs, baked beans, hush puppies and all the fixins’. Local musicians Phil Watson & Matt Calhoun provided the background music, and the Latham Ladies and Magic Mike entertained the kids. (Though it should be noted that the balloon hats created by Magic Mike were equally entertaining to a number of our staff members.)
By dark, the party was hopping with hundreds of guests, and all of the staff, having a great time under the tent. Everyone at Surf or Sound would like to thank our homeowners for attending and helping us celebrate the end of a successful 2008 season. We can’t wait to see everyone again next year for good food, good drinks, good music, and great friends.
