Taste of the Beach will be held March 11-14th

Get Ready for 4 Days of Food, Drink & Fun! The Outer Banks of North Carolina 2010 Taste of The Beach Weekend will be March 11-14.

The Outer Banks Restaurant Association (OBRA) has been hosting the Taste of The Beach for over 20 years. This grand food festival event on The Outer Banks of North Carolina will feature wine tastings, cooking classes, special menu presentations, celebrity guest chef appearances by Ed Brantley & Heba Salama from “The Biggest Loser”, brewery tours, tapas crawls and many more events with exciting array of creative combinations of culinary delights and fun activities on the Outer Banks. Hatteras Island Arts & Crafts Show is Nov. 27-28

Hatteras Island Arts & Crafts Guild will have an arts and crafts show on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 27-28, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Cape Hatteras Secondary School on Highway 12 in Buxton.

This is an annual event to help locals and visitors alike get a jump start on their Christmas shopping island style. The show will feature work by dozens of renowned local artists, artisans, photographers, and craftsmen. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to stop by and browse the array of works, or purchase some island inspired art and crafts to take home. Lunch and snacks will be available for a small fee.
