Taste of the Beach will be held March 11-14th

Get Ready for 4 Days of Food, Drink & Fun! The Outer Banks of North Carolina 2010 Taste of The Beach Weekend will be March 11-14.

The Outer Banks Restaurant Association (OBRA) has been hosting the Taste of The Beach for over 20 years. This grand food festival event on The Outer Banks of North Carolina will feature wine tastings, cooking classes, special menu presentations, celebrity guest chef appearances by Ed Brantley & Heba Salama from “The Biggest Loser”, brewery tours, tapas crawls and many more events with exciting array of creative combinations of culinary delights and fun activities on the Outer Banks. Save the date for annual spring dance

The ninth annual Spring Dance, sponsored by the Hatteras Island Cancer Foundation (HICF) will be on Saturday, March 21 at the Hatteras Village Civic Center. Tickets will be available in advance and all proceeds go to HICF to help support those in the community faced with the many challenges of cancer.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the dance ends at midnight. There will be a full buffet, beer, wine, soda, and the civic center will be decorated in style. Music this year will be by the 360 Degree Band. Continue reading →
